My apartment & rental

Meelynn (one of the current ALTs in Fukuoka) just told me that her rental is ¥12,100 which is only S$183 per month? That is really cheap!!!

And she also mentioned that I'll likely live in a kyoshokuin jutaku (public teacher's housing), "an old submarine-like apartment complex that while straight out of the Soviet Era cleans up nicely and is quite spacious." Hum... wonder how spacious is spacious.. which means there's alot to clean?
